A PETITION to the administration to introduce, support, advocate for, and sign legislation providing for payment of salaries to military members during any future budget impasses wherein pay continues to occur for members of Congress and President.
It doesn't make sense to not pay the men & women in the military who are doing their job during budget impasses, but continue to pay elected officials who are not doing their job (by political bickering rather than passage of a budget).
This loophole needs fixed. This petition asks the administration to do everything possible to support the fixing of this loophole.
