Support more funding for the National Park Service to expand and maintain the USA's best gems for future generations

Created by M.D. on November 17, 2012

The National Park Service has been cash strapped from the United States Congress for several years now. While their budget has dwindled the number of visitors has risen. The path of these parks to maintain facilities and reduce ecological damage caused by visitors is on the wrong path. Congress needs to appropriate more funds or else our beloved park system will start to crumble. The United States is known for icons like Yellowstone, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty. All of these parks are operated under the National Park Service and without more funding these icons of America will start to crumble. The NPS needs more funding to support and maintain these great parks and ultimately this great nation.
