Support the movement of having Muslim holidays recognized in the school year, throughout the state of New Jersey.

With the growing population of Muslims in New Jersey, we believe that it's time that Muslim holidays be recognized throughout the state. In NJ, there are a total of 109 Mosques and there's a large Muslim population. On Eid Ul Adha and Eid Ul Fitr, Muslim students have to miss school and Muslim parents have to take a day off work. Muslim families are forced to choose between their children's education or their religious obligations. With Islam being the third largest religion in the United States after Christianity and Judaism, it's time to recognize their holidays throughout the state of New Jersey.
