The organization called Move To Amend has proposed an amendment to the constitution to reverse the Supreme Court's Cititzens United ruling.
Corporations should not be considered as natural persons and money is not free speech. The first amendment does not include the word money. The founding fathers worked hard to prevent our government from being controlled by the wealthy elite. Our constitution does not give corporations the rights of natural person, the courts have created this fiction from a series of erroneous rulings.
We need to amend the constitution to limit corporate financial influence and return the power of government to the individual, natural persons. Human beings are more important than corporations. One person one vote not billions of dollars equals massive influence.
