Net Neutrality, treating all data the same regardless of origin or service upon which it is delivered or served, must remain and be enshrined in law. "Common carrier" must be the definition of such services. Given Tom Wheeler’s opposition to such a definition and previous position as lobbyist for the cable and wireless communications industries, he should step down.
The White House should immediately remove Wheeler from his position as chair of the Federal Communications Commission and proceed to immediately seek the appointment of a non-industry lobbyist as replacement.
We, the undersigned, respectfully request:
1. The removal of Tom Wheeler as chariman of the FCC, and
2. The replacement of Tom Wheeler with an individual holding no lobbying ties to the telecommunications industry.
