If you have been paying any attention to the media recently, you'd know about the legal action Kesha was brave enough to take against her producer and abuser - Dr. Luke.
Her claims were initially struck down in court - Kesha said it was tantamount to “slavery” to force her to remain contracted to Kemosabe Records, a sub-company of Sony Music, owned by Dr. Luke. She also faced further setback on April 6th, 2016 when a NY Judge struck down more of her claims saying she failed to provide adequate evidence.
We understand that there is not enough evidence to pursue criminal charges against Luke, but what is stopping the court from nullifying her contract?
DO NOT FORCE ANYONE TO WORK WITH THEIR ALLEGED ABUSER! THAT IS ABUSE IN AND OF ITSELF!
