It is long overdue that we stop paying lip-service to supporting our troops. There is no shortage of money to send them to war, yet there always seems to be a drastic shortage when it comes to caring for them after their return. Our troops are a treasured part of this nation and its history. It's time that we DEMAND that congress pass REAL, lasting reform to improve the mechanisms in place for support of our troops, or create new mechanisms as necessary. Many of our troops put their lives on the line to support this country, its safety and its ideals, and the least we could do as American citizens is put our money where our mouths are. Our troops deserve honest, meaningful legislation without riders. We demand that Congress write and pass legislation to actually support our troops.
