Palestine is attempting to make peaceful diplomatic advances by placing a bid for UN recognition. This would give Palestine a peaceful avenue to pursue grievances against Israel. This may ultimately reduce Palestinian support for violence against the Israeli people.
However, the Israeli government has threatened violent retaliation against Palestine if they choose to proceed with this process. This is an unacceptable threat of violence and, if carried out would constitute war crime.
Please support Palestine's bid for recognition by the UN.
Please do not allow the Israeli government to attack Palestinian civilians in retaliation.
Please do not remain silent on the issue.
