This is a petition asking the President to promote an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, requiring that a balanced budget be duly passed and presented by the Legislative Branch to the President for signature no later than the April 15th prior to the beginning of the next fiscal year.
Should such a balanced budget not be duly passed and presented to the President by said date, the US Treasury will immediately cease any and all payments to all senators and representatives for one year, said monies being forfeit and to be used exclusively for the purpose of reducing the natonal debt.
