In 1603, the Act of Union of the Crowns joined the monarchy of Scotland and England into a united kingdom.
In 1706 and 1707, the parliaments of Scotland and England enacted the Acts of Union of the Parliaments.
Scotland has suffered through this political union and as at the last general election, is governed by a government in London for which they voted against.
The Scots will vote in September to separate their parliament from the English parliament. This will reverse the Acts of Union of the Parliaments of 307 years ago.
This vote for Independence will allow the Scots to decide the solutions to their problems, and not have these decisions taken by a 'foreign' government who know nothing of Scottish affairs.
