It is our goal to pressure on the government of China to cease it's continued attempts to subvert the independence of Taiwan. While China has a right to express its economic power responsibly, the continued collusion with the government of Taiwan to grant China access to the Taiwanese labor market is criminal.
Taiwan represents a relatively stable democracy which relies on support from western democracies to continue to thrive in an area that is at least contentious, and at worst increasingly under the influence of an oppressive dictatorship, who has demonstrated the terrible record on human rights toward outsiders, conditions and recompense for its workers, and freedom of information. These factors alone illuminate the tragedy of allowing China to infiltrate Taiwan's labor market.
