Playing of the Super Bowl on a Saturday night would help alleviate the Monday workplace absenteeism and its subsequent impact to the National economy; make the game more enjoyable for the TV viewers who must deal with stress of knowing they have to go to work the next day (for those planning on going to work); and increase the economic impact for bars and restaurants where patrons would be more likely to watch the entire game.
