I'm asking that the administration grandfather in pre-CFC asthma inhalers to be made generic and not use a persons ability to breath to support a national healthcare program for Wall St., for profit Big Pharma quarterly profits.
Asthma is an ever growing yet most manageable illness with easy cheap access to rescue inhalers. Rescue inhalers made prior to CFC environmental standards have miniscule to little final effect on the environment compared to the quality of life issues being addressed in this petition, the young and the poor working class. At close to $50 per inhaler compared to $14, less than 10 years ago, everyday American people are being hurt with each breath, in their bodies, and in their pocket books.
