I like the new Obama. We the people are crying out for real economic change in a country that's gone wild with runaway inflation. It's very tight down here in the grassroots. I can just imagine what the middle classes are going through. The huge pressures, the dreams unrealized, hopes dashed. For those who love their children and want the best they can do for them, this is a painful, hopeless situation.
Maybe it's time to revive "Buddy can you spare me a Dime." Songs should be written, etc., like "Buddy can you spare me a buck."
I've heard the term "recession" enough until I could PXXX. It's called a depression and America is in it.
I liked Roosevelt because he would listen and respect Eleanor's concerns as best he could. He likely even did something about what he could.
