A federal appeals court has recently ruled that the FCC lacks the statutory authority to enforce the most important principles of net neutrality -- the anti-discrimination and anti-blocking rules.
Americans want what the Open Internet provides us today:
1) We can go to sources of information we trust to stay an informed citizenry.
2) We can connect to other Americans in forums of our choosing, to discuss our mutual interests
3) In the entrepreneurial spirit that is quintessentially American, anyone can harness the Internet as an engine of innovation and growth without artificial barriers.
These are some of the benefits we enjoy today that would be lost without net neutrality.
We ask that the FCC be granted the authority they lack to enforce the key provisions of net neutrality.
