Education reform is vague, yet citizens are convinced that we have the best system available. After spending $118 billion since 1965 on Title I, the federal government's largest K-12 program, evaluations conclude that the “program has been unable to lift the academic level of poor students.” I demand a class interjected, strategically, in a students school year that teaches the child how to identify important information and retain it. We have our kids memorize ABC's with mnemonic techniques, yet they are unaware of it. The result is self-induced interest in education. Billions of dollars will be generated. That money is going to be distributed as SCHOOL BONDS. As long as the school remains successful, those bonds will collect interest. Accrued interest is written in the name of a citizen.
