Support religious freedom in this country by reviewing the HHS Mandate to cover for Contraceptives and Sterilization.

Created by B.C. on January 22, 2012

On account of the advice of a group of Medical Doctors, the HHS has taken to mandate the coverage of Contraceptives and Sterilization in health care. The Catholic Church, both officially and morally, prohibits such practices (Cf. Catechism of the Catholic Church, # 2399; http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_...). There are many good Catholic citizens in the United States who seek to uphold Catholic Moral Teaching and who thus should be granted freedom from any coercion to violate their conscience duly formed in accordance to sound moral ethic. A thorough reform of this mandate is essential. It should at the very least contain a conscience clause that would respect every collective and personal conscience.
