The Bradley Act, also known as the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992, effectively outlaws sports betting throughout the country, excluding the four states of Nevada, Oregon, Delaware, and Montana.
By repealing this law, each individual state would be allowed to make its own decision regarding whether or not to allow sports betting. It is fair for the federal government to repeal a law which disables citizens from partaking in this activity in the majority of states. Furthermore, the federal government should adhere to the constitution and grant the individual states the power to determine their own outlook on sports betting.
