support repeal of the Hughes amendment, as well as 922r, and to refuse to implement further firearms restrictions.

Created by K.T. on November 14, 2012

The Hughes amendment has done nothing to inhibit crime, and statistics do not show any significant changes since its adoption. Furthermore, crime rose significantly after the AWB of 1994, which banned weapons that can be used for legitimate purposes, such as the hunting of wild boar, a dangerous and costly animal that ravages lifestock and farmland across the country, or defending against large groups of beligerants that may be armed in a superior manner. If one were to view footage of the LA Riots, they would see Korean store owners defending their store and their homes, albeit successfully, from mass rioting with hunting rifles and shotguns designed for waterfowl and skeet and trap shooting. If they were to have attempted defense against large crowds, they could of very well died.
