We the undersigned respectfully request that the Office of the President announce support for the "Respect States and Citizens Rights act" that is being introduced by (D-CO) Diana DeGette, that will amend the CSA to allow for states that pass Marijuana legalization laws to enact sensible policies within those states, without interference from the federal government. Let's get the debate started, and let the laboratories of democracy have the freedom to try a different approach. Progress deserves a chance. It's a matter of economics, let's take the money from the gangs and cartels, and put it to work in OUR economy, including Industrial Hemp.
