Support a return to the "Sweet Spot" personal income tax rates that were in place at the end of Clinton Administration.

Created by C.S. on September 22, 2011

The American economy was booming at the end of the Clinton Administration. The government had a surplus.

The Bush Administration squandered that healthy starting position on a huge, budget-busting tax cut, leaving office with the US economy undergoing a historic meltdown.

With the Bush tax cuts still fully in place, the deficit continues to climb, and the economy is weak.

President Obama favors restoring the Clinton era tax rates, but only for the very wealthiest Americans, some of whom complain they are being singled out unfairly.

Don't single them out any longer. Support full expiration of the Bush tax cuts. Americans can share the tax burden as they've successfully shared it before.

Return to the "Sweet Spot" rates that have been proven to work, both politically and economically.
