support the right of Spanish people to decide their internal affairs according to the Spanish democratic Constitution.

Created by E.G. on November 29, 2012

Some people in the Catalonia region of Spain would like to hold a referendum for voting a pseudo self-determination right in a flagrant contravention with the Spanish democratic Constitution in force since 1979.
As they don’t get the necessary support within Spain, Catalan separatists try to attract sympathies from abroad by influencing international opinion with totally biased information.
Spain is internationally recognized and respected as a democratic State. Therefore in adherence to the guiding principles of our own right to solve our internal affairs according to the democratic Spanish Law, we ask the US government not to interfere in this local discussion by making statements that could be utilized in their own interest by local separatist people.
