There are many people in Russia who do not agree with Putin's policy, but they are mostly scared. Sometimes it seems that the entire Russian population support Putin, but it is not true.
For the past 14 years Putin's regime systematically neutralized the opposition. Opposition members were banned from government-controlled television, overwhelmingly the most powerful influence on public opinion. The most famous of them are now in jail, under examination or live in exile.
