Scotland has a wealth of natural resources, and they deserve to be able to use them how they see fit. London acts in the interest of the English, while not only neglecting Scotland, but indeed exploiting their resources for the benefit of England. Making Scotland an independent state would allow them to use their resources in a way that would benefit them. In addition, they would gain a bigger say in the European Union. Finally, Scottish Home Rule would allow the Scottish Parliament to rule Scotland's 5.3 million citizens in a way which would benefit Scotland, and make it a world power.
