The US Government must investigate the crime against humanity of the kidnapping of the 43 teachers in Iguala, Mexico. The US must find the missing teachers, identify the perpetrators, and prosecute the guilty.
In Iguala, Mexico, a state south of Mexico City, 43 teachers have gone missing. These teachers are the sons of poor rural farmers that were on their way to a political protest. It is believed the teachers were likely massacred by local corrupt police and politicians.
In recent weeks, local search efforts have yielded the charred remains of countless unidentified bodies that local authorities do not believe are the teachers but instead the victims of local violence. The teachers remain at large.
