Several states have exceeded the threshold needed to support petitioning the executive branch to allow them to peacefully secede from the Union.
I urge you to support this process in my own state, New York, and that of my children, Ohio, where onerous federal, state, county and local governance proliferates unchecked
As an upstate resident I've long wished that western and northern (Adirondack) regions to be a state apart from the Hudson Valley and New York City.
A peaceful secession would be the best first exercise to restore our right, divorce ourselves from dependence, and end the net outflow of revenue from state to federal
