We request President Obama to explicitly lend support to a grand plan, such as exemplified by the Simpson-Bowles plan, as a long-term fiscal plan to be phased in after a near-term stimulus. Such a plan can be balanced and receive the adulations that America is taking necessary, substantial, and fair minded steps towards solutions to it’s fiscal health.
