20 million Sri Lankans lived under constant terrorist threat for 26 years. Bomb blasts at public places, village massacres, suicide blasts were common tragedies they had to face in everyday life. In May 2009, Sri Lankan government defeated the terrorist outfit responsible for those atrocities. No Sri Lankan has suffered death or injury due to terrorism afterwards.

We, members of U.S. Sri Lankan community are deeply concerned about the efforts being made by certain quarters to belittle the country’s reconciliation efforts thorough various sleazy techniques.
