In a time when our nation is more divided than ever, fighting between Democrats and Republicans is rampant. As we are dealing with serious issues, both parties continue to move towards the extremes of their platforms. Congress has become increasingly gridlocked about even accomplishing even the simplest of tasks.
By supporting stronger state and local governments, you would greatly increase government efficiency. Suddenly, accomplishing these big tasks that seem so unattainable for Congress could be accomplished at a more localized level. They could be catered to specifically address the needs of that area. After all, isn’t government supposed to be by the people for the people?
