Support Suicide Awareness & Depression Awareness.

Created by S.B. on October 26, 2014

In the past years suicide has been a leading cause of death. In 2012, 40,600 suicides were reported, making suicide the 10th leading cause of death for Americans. It is astonishing how more people are actually dying from suicide than in car accidents. I want the United States to be fully aware of what is going on around us, in fact 1 out of 12 teenagers commit suicide. Not only that, but a far greater percentage have thought about it at least once in their lives. It is horrifying to think that children who just got into this world are thinking that their problems aren't fixable. I want everyone to know that things get better and if we all join in and help one another, the world will be a better place.
