Support tax breaks for single adult individuals

Created by S.E. on January 07, 2015

We, the lonely forlorn, request that President Obama encourage tax reform that will allow for a higher tax credit for independent (Single) status tax payers. Couples married or otherwise already enjoy benefits which include a higher standard of living through combined income, general quality of life improvement, and the ability to financially prepare to reproduce/adopt. For single adults aged 25-40 who receive little to no financial assistance from their parents, it is difficult to make ends meet even with what would these days be considered a reasonably well-paid career. If Single taxpayers had a greater purchase power, we could help resurrect the true housing market and support a stronger economy while putting less strain on social resources.
