John McCain has proposed legislation to allow consumers to choose cable services and channels on an a la carte basis, rather than being forced to subscribe to more expensive bundled packages that usually include a multitude of channels most don't want.
With costs increasing each year for cable service, a greater flexibility of choice in what channels/service you can choose from would help offer lower priced TV service to many.
McCain's bill briefly garnered some attention in the media, but does not have any co-sponsors, and has yet to make any traction in the Senate. For this legislation to have any chance at succeeding and giving more choice and control to you, the consumer, it needs as much support as possible.
Please lend your support. Thank you.
