Term limits exist for many of our state, county, and local elected officials. They were enacted by the American people for a reason - to ensure our government is of the people and by the people.
American politicians, special interests and lobbyists continue to combat term limits, as they know term limits force out career politicians who are more concerned with their own gain than the interests of the American people.
Tell our elected officials that we support a maximum of 2 consecutive terms for any federal elected official. If this is good enough for the President of our country, then it should be good enough for Congress.
