It has become clear to the American People that the Congress is ineffective. Support a Constitutional Amendment that places limits on the terms of Senators and Representatives.
Amendment XXVII (Proposed)
Section 1
No person shall be elected to the House of Representatives for more than three terms or serve more than six total years. No person shall be elected to the Senate for more than two terms or serve more than total twelve years.
Section 2
This article shall not apply to any terms served before the ratification of this article.
