Speculative stock market trading is causing an unnecessary financial burden on American families by increasing the cost of energy (i.e. gas prices) through speculative trading.
In addition with today’s technology stock trading is occurring in milliseconds undermining the vast majority of Americans invested in the market for retirement purposes.
A transaction fee on trading would discourage traders from gaming the system through stock speculation and level the trading field for long term investors.
The monies accumulated through this fee should be used to assist small businesses involved in clean energy manufacturing, installation etc. The businesses would be required to utilize American made products to insure American job creation.
