The government is starting to take and is planning to take more of the pay and benefits from those that have given so much to our country. Someone once said to me that America's support for the troops stops at a handshake and a thank you for their service. Less than 0.5 percent of the population serves in the armed forces, many of them have spent years in a combat zones costing them their marriages, missing milestones in their children's lives, mental injuries, and physical injuries. Show America we cherish those who serve and will not fail them. The purpose of the petition is to stop placement of the budgetary burden on troops and their families. Put a haul to the current cuts being made and do not allow anymore.
