The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land. No individual, legislative body, public servant, or government official has the power to violate that law. When any president of our nation is sworn into office, he swears to uphold and defend the Constitution. Recent actions by our current president, Obama - executive orders and the like - indicate that he does not consider the U.S. Constitution to be any constraint upon his governance.
Therefore, the purpose of this petition is to try to induce President Obama to uphold and abide by the Constitution as he swore to do in his Oath of Office.
