We who join hands on April 22 are making a pledge to the future of humanity and to mother earth. We agree that in order for humanity to survive well into the future with the moral greatness that we so aspire to, we must live sustainably and to allow humanity to witness the beauty of life's diversity well into the sunset of our time in this universe. We also agree that in accepting the sanctity of life, we have a responsibility to provide adequate food, shelter, and healthcare to all our people.
We believe that this is our Manifest Destiny. We believe that If we are to be a truly great nation, we must set the example, to be that shining beacon on the hill. And so we take this pledge, our covenant into the cosmos, that we live up to that promise that the moral arc of the universe leads
