support the veterans of Blanco County, Texas in their struggle to save Historical Post 352 of the American Legion.

Created by B.F. on September 17, 2013

In 1948, Blanco Rural High School District Number 1 and American Legion Memorial Highway Post 352 entered into a 99 year land lease on land originally donated to the school district by the Masons. World War II veterans built the building which has been used by the school, the Post and the community for 65 years. Blanco ISD is now trying to break the lease and evict Post 352 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 352.

Post 352 and Unit 352 are the only veteran's organizations serving Blanco County and surrounding areas by providing practical support to veterans, active duty servicemen and women, and their families, as well as college scholarships and patriotic education to the community.

We encourage President Obama to ask Blanco ISD to honor their contract with American Legion Post 352.
