Many companies benefited, rather than sacrificed, from the toll in human and national treasure created by the war in Afghanistan, and the illegal war in Iraq. In fact, some companies were created specifically to benefit from these conflicts. The fraud, waste and abuse have been well document. Those profits that companies derived directly from their government contracts in support of these conflicts should be assessed an additional WAR PROFITS TAX. This tax should be applied to the debt incurred by Bush Administration by not funding the war, but borrowing from the Chinese, and others, to pay for it
Those who benefited from windfall profits from the wars should pay a disproportionate amount to pay for the wars, above and beyond the amount contributed through any income tax.
