support Warren County North Carolina Free Clinic National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 initiative.

Created by J.M. on January 16, 2013

We believe the Obama Administration should, support the Warren County, North Carolina Free Clinic initiative to leverage Section 544 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 to target Free Clinics as a “License Bridge” for veterans with medical skills. The clinic’s methodology would allow veterans with medical training to utilize their value-added skills, sweat equity, and since of community support, to help the “insurance insure” population while they wait on the granting of their military-to-civilian license transition. This will be mutual beneficial in supporting the budget and service delivery headwinds of Free Clinic’s and the veterans ability to enhance their skill-sets during their tenure in the program. North Carolina has 78+ Free Clinics and Pharmacies.
