Saudi Arabia, one of the longest standing US allies in the Middle East, is the only country in the world where women are not allowed to drive.
A Saudi woman was hemorrhaging alone, with no other form of transportation. So she drove herself to the hospital.
Because of her potentially life-saving actions, she was sentenced to 10 lashings.
