The United States government should immediately suspend all military and economic aid, as well as cease all trade, to Pakistan, until it releases from prison Dr. Shakil Afridi, who bravely helped the US locate and eliminate the terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Our failure to secure his release and immigration to the United States is an unconscionable act of cowardice, that would be easily remedied by economically and militarily cutting off Pakistan, a nation that has been an unreliable and duplicitous partner in the fight against terrorism.
