Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27 uears old, has been sentenced to flogging and death for apostasy and adultery by the government of Sudan for her Christian faith and marriage to a Christian man. She is currently 8 months pregnent. Religious freedom is a corner stone of American society, and allows us the freedom to choose our religion or lack thereof as we deem fit. The Obama administration should support this fundamental component of our society by condemning the Sudan else government and suspending all foreign aide until Meriam's conviction is overturned.
