A shared sacrifice should include the President, Vice President, Congress & Senate. Given that no budget has been developed or signed, and that the President, Vice President, members of the Senate and Congress have yet to understand that they work for the people, the people hereby petition the same to suspend all pay and benefits for the President, Vice President, members of Congress & Senate until an acceptable budget is signed and significant results are realized in eliminating the deficit, not just reducing the deficit over some period of years. Until the deficit is eliminated, all pay and benefits will be suspended for the President, Vice President, & all members of the Senate and Congress.
