It is time to change tactics regarding military involvement between the US and the DPRK.
American service members participate with the South Korean military in 2 defensive exercises yearly to ensure military readiness is maintained in the event the DPRK becomes aggressive and the South must respond by defending its self.
These exercises have become complacent in their bi yearly scheduling as well as angering of the DPRK.
Suspending of these exercises will offer a sign that the investment of time, energy, and resources can be better allocated to produce an opportunity of lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Americans have an opportunity to partner with South Korea to suspend the exercises that cause anger and military posturing from the DPRK.
