Uncontrolled cattle grazing has potentially adverse effects on native vegetation, wild life, soil cover, and ground and surface water resources in arid regions requiring permitting and close monitoring of existing grazing permits. The Governor of the State of Nevada has demonstrated his unwillingness to support federal authorities on effective monitoring and enforcement of cattle grazing on federal lands. In the name of ALL owners of these lands, We the People of the United States of America petition the White House to suspend all cattle grazing permits on federal lands in the State of Nevada until state and local authorities support in policy and action effective enforcement of cattle grazing limits on federal lands.
