suspend commencement of the Congressional holiday recess until a budget has been passed.

Created by T.B. on November 29, 2012

The House of Representatives and the Senate continue to posture over the resolution of our nation's fiscal difficulties, rather than negotiating a solution to avoid the "fiscal cliff."

To encourage the timely passage of a mutually acceptable budget solution, the President, with the leadership of the House and Senate, should forbid the commencement of a holiday break until a budget is passed by both houses of Congress, and signed into law by the POTUS.
