suspend Congressional pay and benefits if the government shuts down.

Created by E.R. on September 30, 2013

If the government shuts down, Congressional pay and benefits should be suspended until they can agree to a budget bill. Holding the economy hostage for political gain is not acceptable and Congress should not get paid when they are not doing their job. If they are going to cause others to not get paid their payroll or disability benefits, Congress should not get any pay or benefits until they can get government running again.
