Suspend The Executive and Legislative branches pay when the annual deficit exceeds $250 billion.

Created by W.S. on December 08, 2012

It is the responsibility of our Executive and Legislative Branches to run a responsible, sensible, and balanced budget. We ask that our federal government adheres to the same fiscal responsibilities that the American citizens strive to adhere too.

It is reasonable to understand that a budget deficit is inevitable, however, the Federal government needs to make a better effort to reign in this reckless spending. Therefore, we request that both the Executive and Legislative Branches suspend their pay and benefits so long as they run a budget deficit exceeds $250 billion annually.
